How to keep documents       in DigiLocker app

DigiLocker is available via website and app on the Google Playstore and the App Store.

Click on sign up, enter the required details and click on submit.

Set the desired six-digit pin, verify via OTP and set a username for future purposes. 

To login at a later time, enter either your username or Aadhaar Number and the six-digit pin previously created. 

To upload documents, sign in to DigiLocker using previously mentioned methods. 

On the website, click on the link titled ‘Upload Documents’, on the app, click on the top left icon.

Select the files you want to upload and add them by clicking  ‘open’ or by tapping  on them. 

Your documents will get uploaded depending on their size and your network speed.

To access the documents, go to the home screen in your DigiLocker account where you’ll see a list of  documents  either uploaded by you or issued by the Government.

Don’t forget to log out of the app when you’re done to prevent any unauthorized access to your documents.
